The hotel rooms, with a fireplace, comfortable king bed, and large balcony, were better but still squeaky and loud, making it barely comfortable to fall asleep on. The service was very friendly and helpful, even changing my room from the second floor to the first floor because I had a baby. The location was a bit far from the action in Monterey and Pacific Grove but a short drive to desirable locations. The dining options were a disappointment compared to other Red Roof Inn breakfasts. The facilities are limited but the Tuscan bread was a pleasant surprise.
